When committing a rape, murder, or treason does it occur to you that, if Caught, you could be, electrocuted, gassed, or lethally injected? I highly query it. So what is it that is running through your mind? Do you honestly cerebrate you butt murder or rape some innocent somebody and get away with it? I dont think so. I feel the termination penalty is a great concept. My philosophy is, wherefore should someone that murdered an innocent hu human being being still be able to breathe, while his or her victim can non? Life without parole is a good idea, but that person is still getting the chance to breathe, eat, sleep, smell, hear, and view while his or her victim cannot. Many batch see pileus punishment as cruel and wrong, but is not what that person did cruel and wrong? How argon we as a society going to get wind them that it is wrong? Life without parole is not the answer, capital punishment superpower be. Some of our slammers at once could be mistaken for a Holiday Inn. Th e convicted are treated entirely too well. Look at the numbers though, over time well save $1.2 to $3.6 million if we just execute them. Mind you the $34,000/ year cost are an average. The maximum-security prisons run over $75,000/year. And where do we put the murderers? In the maximum-security prisons. So actually $75,000/year for 50 years at 2% increase is well, I cant figure it out but Ill bet its a lot of money. So what it boils down to is, we have these thousands of people on death row that have murdered and rapped people, and where paying on average $34,000/year to hold them. Why are we spending money on people that have done such horrible things. Do unto others, as you want them to do unto you. A person knows if they kill someone they are risking the death penalty, I figure if they take that risk they should take the penalty. Im 110% for the death penalty. Word Count 1400
